《北京青年报》透露，东京奥运会和全运会以后，石智勇腰伤日益严重，经常扎电针治疗。
扎电针是治疗腰、背部伤病的常见手段，由于扎的针太多，石智勇还将治疗腰伤扎过的针灸针存了下来，已插满5升的饮料桶。
正是扎电针次数太多，他早已可以不用队医去操作相关仪器，自己就可以熟练地完成。
