从现场视频中看出，张志杰在晕厥后，经过了一段时间，医护人员才进场为张志杰治疗。据赛事官方声明，张志杰在晕厥后赛事医生和医疗小组对他实施抢救。他在不到两分钟的时间内就被救护车送往医院，最终抢救无效于去世，年仅17岁。
