热海景区青山环抱，一泓热海
腾冲是我国三大地热区之一，全市下辖的19个乡镇（街道）总计约5845平方公里的土地上，温泉几乎无处不在，尤以热海最有代表性。热海拥有较大的气泉、温泉群共有80余处，其中有10个温泉群的水温达90℃以上。到处都可看到热泉在呼呼喷涌，热气将这里笼罩在一片白雾之中。
